Our multi-lingual Sales staff will help you find that new or pre-owned car you've always wanted. We're proud to tell you that Brasso has received the Nissan Award of Excellence 21 times --more than any other dealership in Canada! In 2004, we were honored to receive the prestigious 'Ethics Award' presented by the Southern Alberta Better Business Bureau. This was the first time the award had ever been presented to an automotive dealer.

We attribute our success to something special about us: we believe in truly value-driven customer service. This means a no-pressure sales environment where you can take your time, and transparent pricing without the fine print. It also means a rewarding purchasing and ownership experience in which your satisfaction is our priority. Brasso Nissan owners enjoy no-charge service loaners (you only pay for gas), free car washes and complimentary car care clinics (temporarily unavailable in response to COVID-19). We make car-buying easy, enjoyable and stress-free.

You can reach Brasso Nissan anytime by calling us at 1-877-561-2022 or visiting our Calgary Nissan dealership at 195 Glendeer Circle S.E.

Our History at Brasso
Brasso Nissan is one of the oldest Nissan Dealerships in Canada. Incorporated in 1969, the company is still owned by the born-and-raised Calgarian, Einar Brasso. Einar credits the success of the company to the overall excellence of Nissan products over the years and the enthusiasm and energy of the market in Calgary.

"I often silently thank whatever notion caused my dad (Peter) to stop in Calgary when he emigrated from Denmark in the late 1920s. Despite a 1000% increase in population, the basic 'hand-shake' mentality has not changed from those days. We built this business on the concept that Calgarians want their needs to be met fairly, promptly, and consistently. Everything matters!"

Brasso Nissan Achievements:

  • Consistently in the top-5-volume dealers in Canada
  • Canada's only 21 time winner of the Nissan Award of Excellence
  • #1 Customer Satisfaction Dealer in Canada
  • BBB 2004 Ethics Award
  • 2008 Highest-Volume Retailer in Canada
  • 2007 Global NSSW Award

In 2004, we were honored to receive the prestigious "Ethics Award" presented by the Southern Alberta Better Business Bureau. This was the first time the award had ever been presented to an automotive dealer. During his acceptance remarks at the presentation gala, Mr. Brasso said "…our success over the years has been due largely to the practice of hiring good people with honest values and then training them to present what we have to offer consistently."

In 2007, Brasso Nissan was only the third dealer ever chosen to represent Canada in Japan as the recipient of the prestigious Nissan Sales & Service Way Award. This global NSSW honour is not given annually; it's based on exceptional excellence in all aspects of the franchise duties. Einar and Donna joined 36 other members from around the globe for 3 days of presentations and festivities in Tokyo.

Einar married former Calgary Stampede Queen Donna Thomson in 1964. They have 3 children and 6 grandchildren, all of whom live in the Okotoks area. Donna is the daughter of a pioneer ranch family and the Brasso family have a great interest in horses, cattle, and ranch life.

Meals on Wheels Pizza Week
Now entering its 6th year, YYC Pizza Week has become a much anticipated 10-day event in our city. This established foodie event will run from September 20th -- 29th and sees local restaurants battling it out for the title of YYC's Best Pizza. Not only does this event showcase local restaurants, it has brought people together over a slice or two while supporting a great cause.

Over the years, YYC Pizza Week has helped Calgary Meals on Wheels raise more than $42,000 to support the nutritional needs of Calgarians in need of our services with three dollars from every pizza sold during the event helping to support our programs. Any Calgarian can order meals from Calgary Meals on Wheels, no matter their age or circumstance.

We are excited to support this event and look forward to seeing the first-ever Brasso Nissan wheel of pizza revealed at the launch on September 17th at Beer Revolution!

50th Anniversary Event
Giving back to the community that has supported Brasso for half a century is important to us. That's why we named June as the month of giving. Partial proceeds from every vehicle sold during our Anniversary Event, were donated to YW Sheriff King Home crisis shelter. We are thrilled to announce we raised $3,000 for this vital organization.

  • Family violence is the single largest woman's health issue in Canada, with more reported cases than heart attack and stroke. It affects women of all races, ages, socio-economic classes and educational backgrounds -- and in many cases, it involves children.
  • Domestic abuse has steadily been rising in Calgary over the last few years with showing 34% more incidents of domestic violence than the 5-year average. In fact, police responded to 3,089 domestic violence calls in the first three quarters of the year.
  • In 2017, YW Calgary helped more than 770 women and children through our family violence programs and services.
