There are a lot of requirements for a vehicle to become Honda Certified, it's not as easy as just being a used Honda. In order to earn the distinction of Honda Certified, each used Honda vehicle must pass a series of strict Honda Canada mandated mechanical and appearance inspections.

To be Honda Certified, our Honda factory-trained technicians conduct a 100-point inspection (above the regular 30-point inspection required by the Ministry of Transportation to pass safety inspection). This takes about 2.5 hours, as a regular inspection takes about an hour. 

There are much greater requirements to pass a Honda Certified inspection. If any parts are needed to be exchanged or fixed on a car, we will only use genuine Honda parts, as they are the only products on the market that are up to Honda standards and quality.

At Brantford Honda, we do our Honda Certified on inspections on all vehicles that qualify, which leads to added benefits to the customer. Once a vehicle passes inspection and becomes Honda Certified, there are additional warranties on the car, which are backed by warranty. There is a 7-year/160,000km limited warranty on every Honda Certified vehicle. Also if for whatever reason your Honda isn't your dream car, you can come back within 7 days and exchange it for another Honda Certified vehicle.
