Brasso Nissan is look for a Journeyman Technician ? Hiring Immediately

Under the supervision of the Service Manager and/or Shop Foreman, this position works attentively in maintaining, repairing and servicing customer vehicles, to ensure safety and customer satisfaction, and overall department success.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Diagnose the source of any malfunctions and perform repair
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required
• Provide written, prioritized quotes for necessary additional work
• Explain procedures and repairs directly to Service Advisor
• Perform road tests
• Perform safety inspection

Qualifications:

• College Diploma or Trade School Certificate in Automotive Studies, or equivalent
• Strong Nissan and Infiniti product knowledge an asset
• Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Good time management skills
• Organizational ability and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
• Ideally, two (2) years minimum as an Automotive Service Technician
• Dealership experience preferred
• Valid Automotive Service Technician (AST) Certification of Qualification
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Valid Driver's License for Alberta
